Collapse All Expand All View with Navigation Tools

Create a folder called SoftwareCentral in the root of your website, typically %SystemDrive% \Inetpub\SoftwareCentral.

Then start the Internet Information Server (IIS) Manager. Expand the tree to Sites and the right click this folder. Select “Add Web Site…” from the context menu.
Set SoftwareCentral as the site name and browse to the folder created a little earlier.

 

Important: Don’t forget to create a host record for SWC in the corporate DNS! Host records may not contain underscores "_" due to restrictions in Internet Explore.
