Collapse All Expand All View with Navigation Tools

The Local Group Administration in the AD module uses WMI to add users to the local groups. If you in your environment uses pre-Windows 2000 domain names, you must configure SoftwareCentral to use pre-Windows 2000 domain names as well.

 

The function is enabled in two steps; first the functionality must be enabled in the settings menu. This setting is found under Domains/Active Directory.

Once you have enabled this setting, click "Save Settings" and go to the next step.

 

The next step is to add all the pre-Windows 2000 domain names in the domain table of SoftwareCentral, this table is found in the settings menu under Domains/Domains.

When all domain names are entered, the settings are saved, by pressing the save settings button.
