Security Roles
You can for each security role limit the access and usage of the Deployment Manager.
From the SCCM security tab in the Security Role interface you can set the number of clients a user is allowed to operate with, in a single operation:
If you enter 10, the users of this security role may only deploy software to / Reinstall up to 10 computers at a time. Note that this setting also applies to all other interfaces in SoftwareCentral.
From the SoftwareCentral security tab in the Security Role interface you can set which functions in the Deployment Manager the users are allowed to use:
You can allow the users to Deploy Software, Reinstall Operating Systems and View Colleague Deployments. If you only want the users to see status of their own deployments, check the “Monitor Only” box and leave the others unchecked.
