This guide describes how to update an installation of SoftwareCentral. We recommend that you update SoftwareCentral at least every 3 months.

It is required that you update SoftwareCentral once a year to receive support.

 

You can see if a new version of SoftwareCentral is available from the Settings menu in SoftwareCentral:

  

An update of SoftwareCentral will require a few minutes* of down time for SoftwareCentral.

 

* Depending on the speed of the servers and the time since the last update.
