Log message severity (importance)

Log messages in SoftwareCentral are flagged with a severity number. The lower the number, the less important the message is.

1 – Details: None important information such as start and end of transactions.

2 – General: None important information such as item requests.

4 – Success: Whenever an operation has completed successfully.

8 – Warning: An error has occurred, but the operation was able to continue.

16 – Critical: An error has occurred and the operation wasn’t able to continue.
